A few hours after the release of Google Chrome 71 for Mac, Windows and Linux, the Android version of this browser was also released a few hours ago. As usual, in this version, we have seen changes in the technical capabilities as well as changes in the appearance and user interface of the application.
Version 71 of Google Chrome continues to fight annoying ads with more power. Among the ads that are blocked in this version are the ones that mimic the appearance of chat pages or system alert messages or notifications.
Developers, on the other hand, can now customize the look of their web applications in full screen mode. But from a user interface perspective, we've seen changes to the browser settings menu. In the Basics section, the "Autofill and payments" menu is divided into two separate categories: "Payment methods" and "Addresses and more", which users can now access with fewer clicks.
Google Chrome 71 will alert you to enter bank payment pages (which do not have the right structure and do not explain enough about the payment method to the user). In this case, you can make a more careful decision about whether or not to pay on that page.
But another small change that many may not realize has happened at the top of the new tabs. Now, instead of seeing the white and blank edges, you'll see the Google Chrome black and white icon next to the phrase New Tab.
Finally, Google's new policies for automatically playing video or songs on websites have been applied to the Web Audio API of this browser. You can download version 71 of Google Chrome for desktop and Android computers right now.Source
